It's summer in the city and the sun's out so it's time to shut down G street and turn up the music. Join us as we push DC summertime into full swing! The 2nd Annual Ebbitt Block Party has quickly established itself as DC's premiere street festival and tastiest cookout. We will be parking ourselves on the 1400 block of G street, paving the way for hours of non stop musical performances and sparking up the grills for signature Old Ebbitt Grill food and drink! Write the date down and sunscreen up, we can't wait to see you there!
We are joined again this summer by our charitable partner, the DC Central Kitchen who will again be collecting canned or commercially packaged nuts and raisins, as well as can openers. Bring something to contribute and receive a free raffle ticket for each item!

I am coming from out of town. Do you have any recommended hotels?
The J.W. Marriott Hotel, which is right around the corner from the Ebbitt, has graciously offered a rate of $149.00 per night (plus taxes) for guests of the Ebbitt Block Party.
Will there be seating available?
There will no official seating available at this event. Any seating that is available will be on a serve come first served basis.
Is this a 21 years and older event?
Yes. Our permit from the DC government strictly prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from attending. This unfortunately includes children regardless of age.
Can I bring a chair or blanket?
No.
What happens if it rains?
This event is rain or shine. The show will go on.
When will I receive my tickets?
Actually, you won't be receiving your tickets at all. Instead, your tickets will be waiting for you at will call under your name on the day of the event. Please be prepared to provide a valid picture ID to pick up your tickets.
What if I can't make the Block Party or I need to give my ticket to someone else?
You may go to our Ticket Order Information Page and find the tickets you would like to transfer. You will need to authorize the transfer via an email confirmation that will be sent to the email address you provided upon purchase.

What is included in my ticket?
It depends which ticket you purchased. This year the Ebbitt Block Party has two ticket types available GA & the VIP Experience.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
If it's not sold out, tickets will be available at the door. Please note that tickets purchased on the website before June 1st will be discounted.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable however, we do allow you to electronically transfer your ticket(s) to someone else on our Ticket Order Information Page.
What is the closest metro?
The closest metro stop is Metro Center which has access to Red, Orange, and Blue lines.
Is there parking?
Valet parking WILL NOT be available at the Old Ebbitt on June 19, 2010. We encourage street festival revelers to metro to the bash.
